So on Wednesday morning around 11a.m., the boys and I loaded up and were on our way to Wal-Mart to go grocery shopping. We were at the stoplight waiting to get on the freeway-- and it happened. It threw me for a loop, but after a few seconds I finally realized we had just been rear-ended. It terrified poor Elijah, who ended up crying a bit. Long story short, we are all fine, dispite alot of soreness, stiffness, and headaches (for me). The boys checked out completely fine from the chiropractor, and I'm still being seen. It will take about 6 weeks for the soft muscle tissue to heal, so I get to enjoy some TLC from the chiropractor. The car had some minor damages, but you know how that goes-- minor things seem to cost a fortune. All minor except for the bulk of the impact was absorbed by my trailer hitch receiver, which was bent in quite a bit. This means the frame of the car is going to have to be fixed... We found out today that although she gave me a PHOTOCOPY of her insurance, it was in fact her father's, and she is uncovered. So, this means we won't even have to pay a deductible because I was hit by an uninsured motorist. I guess that's good news... BOTH car seats have to be replaced (standard procedure I guess when they've been involved in an accident), but we will be reimbursed for that as well. When Elijah refers to the incident now he says, "The lady who crashed us.." Ha ha.
So, all in all, praise be to God, who kept us safe and protected! :)

On Monday I had Nora here a couple hours, and her and Elijah had a blast playing together, and jumping on the trampoline. I had to grab this cute shot of them sportin' their cool shades! ;)
