We really wanted to do something special this year, now that Elijah is older, to help put the focus of Christmas on Christ, instead of just presents. So, Elijah and I made dough ornaments, and painted them.. some we kept, many we attached to presents, but most importantly we made one for Jesus's birthday present. Elijah picked it out, we painted it, and hung it on the tree special just for Him. Then the original plan was on Christmas Day we'd make a cake, and have it for dessert after dinner. Since we were not feeling well, it was put off a few days, but the other night we were able to celebrate, and Elijah got a real kick out of it. It was fun, and very special. We'll have to make it a tradition! :)
Elijah and I made this cake, and he decorated it with a few sprinkles of his choice, and put the candles in :)
Then we all sang "Happy Birthday"
Tyler was very interested in the whole thing! :)
